The Thirteen Dedications of the Gray Witch:
I. The God/dess is the infinite, the "cause of the first cause" that always was and yet never was. All other gods, goddesses and things are faces of the One true Unity. They may be honored separately or together, but all are One.
II. You shall seek out total and complete balance in all things that you are, that you do, and that you shall seek to be.
III. You shall only use magick to achieve balance and truth.
IV. You shall make certain that every action is thought out thoroughly before it is acted upon and that balance and unity are its objective.
V. You shall never lie to hide your deeds and desires unless by lying you are preserving the balance of nature that has not already been tainted by your actions.
VI. You shall uphold the rights of all toward nature, and of nature toward all, for this is balance.
VII. You shall hold no ideals of humanity above the ideals of nature's balance.
VIII. You shall respect all things living, all things dead, and all things spiritual in nature.
IX. You shall only disturb an environment when it is necessary for balance.
X. You shall recognize "balance" as anything that upholds nature and unity; be it physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, or ideological.
XI. You shall be committed to your beliefs, family, clan, tribe, nation, and world.
XII. You shall seek out balanced health, balanced love, balanced truth, and practice moderation.
XIII. You shall not adhere to any beliefs, methods, or evidences of proof that distinctly contradict the Thirteen Dedications, for anyone can make an apparent truth manifest.

Well was sitting back doing some research on my tarot card, wow its amazing what one learns about themself. My tarot card is the HERMIT and here is what i learnt about it:
THE HERMIT Basic Card Symbols
A robed man or monk carrying a lantern. A barren landscape.
Basic Tarot Story
After a long and busy lifetime, building, creating, loving, hating, fighting, compromising, failing, succeeding, the Fool feels a profound need to retreat. In a small, rustic home deep in the woods, he hides, reading, cleaning, organizing, resting or just thinking. But every night at dusk he head out, traveling across the bare, autumnal landscape. He carries only a staff and a lantern.
It is during these restless walks from dusk till dawn, peering at and examining whatever takes his fancy, that he sees and realizes things he's missed, about himself and the world. It is as if the secret corners in his head were being slowly illuminated, corners he never knew existed. In a way, he has become the Fool again; as in the beginning, he goes wherever inspiration leads him. But as the Fool, his staff rested on his shoulder, carrying unseen his pack. The Fool was like the pack, whatever it was he could be was wrapped up, unknown. The Hermit's staff leans out before him, not behind. And it carries a lantern, not a pack. The Hermit is like the lantern, illuminated from within by all he is.
Basic Tarot Meaning
Represented by Virgo, the Hermit is a card of introspection, analysis and, well, virginity. This is not a time for socializing; the card indicates, instead, a desire for peace and solitude. Nor is it a time for action, discussion or decisions. It is a time to think, organize, ruminate, take stock. There may be feelings of frustration and discontent during this time of withdrawal. But such times lead to enlightenment, illumination, clarity.
In regards to people, the Hermit represents a wise, inspirational person, friend, teacher, therapist, someone the Querent usually sees alone, someone the rest of the Querent's friends and family may not know about. This a person who can shine a light on things that were previously mysterious and confusing. They will help the Querent find what it is they are seeking.
One of the important things about this card is that the Hermit is always shown on the move. He's never locked away in his reclusive cell, he's always out wandering, searching. That, is a Virgo. The Hermit is the restless mind of the Virgo, always gathering information, analyzing, making connections. Virgos are skeptics, and if anyone is going to stick a lantern into a dark place and take a good look at what's going on, it is a Virgo.
Hope you enjoyed this, i found it very enlightening.... by the way what is your tarot card? Check it out, you may be surprised at what you may learn! Have a Blessed day BB )o(
Many Witches chose a name that, they feel, reflects their personality or, in some way, describes their interests or feelings. Names are important. We take a new name in the Craft, so that we can have a name number in Perfect Balance, with our Birth number. It used to be that, to know someones name was to have power over them--- for if you knew the name of your enemy you could conjure with it. Your Witch name need not be kept a secret, BUT at least respect it! Use it with only other Witches or at least, only with those close to you. Check out your name you chose numerologically, before you make a final decision. There are many different systems of numerology, the system below is the most commonly used. *note: when picking your Witch name you should aim for a name that matches your birth number.*
Follow this step for step:
1) Find your birth number by adding the digits of your date of birth. (EX. say you were born June 23, 1956, your number would be; 6.23.1956= 6 + 2 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 5 + 6 = 32 Now bring this number down to a single digit; 32 = 3 + 2 = 5 Then 5 is your birth number.
2) Find the name number of the name you have chosen. This is done by equating all the letters of the alphabet with the first 9 numbers:
1- A, J, S
2- B, K, T
3- C, L, U
4- D, M, V
5- E, N, W
6- F, O, X
7- G, P, Y
8- H, Q, Z
9- I, R
Now say you like the name Diana. Using the above chart; d = 4, i = 9, a = 1, n = 5, and a = 1. Therefore Diana = 4 + 9 + 1 + 5 + 1 =20 ( remember to bring the number down to a single digit) so 20 = 2 + 0 = 2 So this name would not work. Because your birth number is a 5, where this name is only a 2.
It may take a while to find a name that you like and that is numerologically correct, but it is well worth it in the end.
Hope this has been of some help to you, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. BB )o(
